Social Hamilton – Community Content Aggregation via Facebook

Similar to my community event aggregation project, the idea behind Social Hamilton is to better connect you with the Hamilton community. Social Hamilton is a web app which aggregates social media information from ‘places’ (businesses, restaurants, schools, etc) across Hamilton and allows a user to quickly find events and updates in the city.

Eventity – Community Event Aggregation

Problem: I want to find social networking events in Hamilton, but event details are posted on a variety of sources (Tourism Hamilton, Kijiji, The Hamilton Spectator, etc) and are very cumbersome to navigate.

Solution: Event search crawler specifically designed for Hamilton

This is my most active project currently and I hope to release a working prototype in the very near future (mid February?).
